Existing ordering experience timed out under peak load; the kitchen-display flow lost orders; refunds were a manual nightmare.

Approach

How we got it back under control.

Backend rebuild

Replaced the throughput bottleneck with a queue-driven backend. Orders cannot be lost if the kitchen display drops.

Operational dashboards

Live load, refund flows, and inventory drift surfaced in dashboards built for the on-shift manager.

Front-end performance

Sub-second checkout latency on 4G even during peak.
